CatChat

Research Based Problem/Solution

A social media app exclusively for members of the Texas State community. CatChat will be streamlined for academic purposes and student to student communication. The goal of CatChat is to help students communicate with each other so they can work together towards academic success.

We were tasked with finding and solving a technology-based problem for students at Texas State University. Our initial ideas were based around improving the computer labs and facilities, however after surveying students on campus we found that was not a need most students had. We then conducted more research and surveys to conclude that most of the students' technology struggles were actually communication based and not regarding equipment.
